My name is Angus Atkins-Trimnell. I am an application developer currently living in Homewood, Illinois, USA, a burgeoning southern suburb of Chicago. I have been at the coding game for about 20 years with various levels of depth and responsibility, but usually with a smile and pretty good attitude. I come from a line of creators and inventors. Tale told is that I am descendant from Elias Howe, inventor of the cross-stitch sewing machine. I cannot confirm the truth of this, but I have many more recent exemplars of this tendency. These include my maternal grandfather, the late Richard Kennedy, who had a model making shop in Chicago for many years, most notable for the manufacture of the Harris Bank stuffed lion--Herbert, I believe--when I was a child.
